Q2 - Pantone challenge mini

As you probably noticed I decided to join the 2015 Pantone Quilt Challenge.

2015 Pantone Quilt Challenge: Marsala

I finished the quilting this afternoon. I kept it simple. Just a few lines and little play in one center hexagon.

I ran out of day light, watched movie and fell asleep but there are still few hours left to link up.

I made a cushion cover. Something useful and pretty.

I kept the back side extra simple.

I actually put this on my Q2 FAL list so it's time to tick it off. Yay!
Since it is still Friday I'll link up with Finish it up Friday and others:

  1. A tricky colour to use but you have made a lovely job of it with the different tones as well as the contrasting colours. Looks cool!

  2. WOW I can't believe you got the pillow done already - sometimes I sit on projects so long that they grow grey beards! And believe me - that's not a good look for fabric crafts :) The pillow looks great - I like how you turned the hexagon into a square :) I wondered how you were going to do that - my brain couldn't wrap itself around the obvious - getting old has it's evil side :D

  3. It turned out so well, Vera. I find Marsala to be a bit tricky, but I love your interpretation.

  5. Another great finish for you Vera. Of all the Marsala Challenge projects I've seen I like yours best. The yellow really works in there.
